Kyra June Phillips (born August 8, 1968) is an American news anchor for CNN, where she has been reporting since October 1999. Phillips anchors the afternoon edition of CNN Newsroom.
On October 15, 2008, Phillips while introducing Republican Strategist Leslie Shanchez, tripped over the word "Contributor", and twice said what sounded like "cunt", before finally saying "Contributor".
